Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub - American actress, comedian and activist After immigrating to America her birthplace was in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents. She began her career as an actress in her early years as a child. From 2013 until 2016, she was the AT&T salesperson Lily Adams, and since 2020. She gained fame for her role in television commercials. She was a regular host of the Yahoo! Screen science fiction show Other Space (2015). She also starred in a recurring role as a character in the NBC drama This Is Us (2016)-2017. Vayntrub was also part of the cast as Squirrelgirl on Marvel Rising in 2018 following her appearance in the pilot series called New Warriors. Vayntrub was Jewish, born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. Her parents, who were both at the age of two, came to America as refugees from antisemitism. They settled in West Hollywood. Due to her family's financial difficulties and her own financial struggles, she began acting in Mattel Barbie commercials as a five-year-old. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School, but dropped out after her sophomore year, earned a GED and went on to earn an Associate of Arts in Communication from the University of California, San Diego. She was a member of the Upright Citizens Brigade, and was a student of the art of improv comedy
