 Jacques Bermon Webster II, born April 30 1991, is popularly known as Travis Scott (previously Travi$ Scott) is the American artist, singer, and songwriter. The stage name is the combined name of his favorite uncle, with the initials and first name (of Kid Cudi), of his idol, Travis Scott. Scott signed his first major label agreement with Epic Records in 2012, and also a publishing contract with Kanye West's GOOD Music. He signed a joint recording agreement with Epic and T.I. He is signed to Epic and T.I.'s Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's first project that was full-length, the mixtape Owl Pharaoh, was self-released in 2013. It was followed with another mixtape, Days Before Rodeo, in 2014. Rodeo (2015) was his first studio album by the artist. The single that became a hit "Antidote" was the lead track. The second album, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) became the first Billboard 200 number one album. Scott dropped Birds in the Trap Sing McCKnight (2016) with Quavo, under the collective name Huncho Jack. In the year 2018, Astroworld was released to critical acclaim. The album produced his first Billboard Hot 100 top 100 single, "Sicko Mode" feat. Drake. Scott's Cactus Jack Records release the compilation album JackBoys in late 2019. The album debuted at the top of the Billboard 200. Following the debut of his hit single "Franchise" (featuring Young Thug and M.I.A.) in 2020, Scott became the first artist on the Hot 100 to have three songs debut at number one in less than a year.
